Daniel has returned to Ukraine for a year to serve with the missional community Generation. In Ukraine, the war has intensified the need for support through the encouragement and equipping of the Church, the seeking of the lost, and the hope that is found in Christ.
The Need
The war in Ukraine continues to create significant challenges for the Church: exhausted leaders, emotional and spiritual burnout, prolonged stress, and a growing need for theological understanding of the nature and mission of God’s people.
The Vision
At the same time, God has opened a unique window of opportunity to equip and empower church leaders across Ukraine that are sensitive to the mission of God amid war and after. With this in mind, Daniel plans to return to Ukraine for 12 months to serve alongside the missional community “Generation.”
The Focus
Daniel’s ministry focus will include active involvement with Generation leaders through administration of their school, traveling across the country with missionaries, building partnerships with American churches, and investing in local church ministry.
What is Generation?
Generation is a network of missionary churches in Ukraine that promotes the fulfillment of the Great Commission to the ends of the earth. They do this through intensive training of leadership teams and missionaries at their school, personal mentoring in how to lead and plant missional churches, allocating resources, and partnering with like-minded organizations and churches.
Giving & Support
Daniel has an initial support goal of $5,000. This support is securely kept and faithfully stewarded through HubCity Baptist, and your contribution is ensured to go straight to supporting the mission God has called Daniel Ibrahimov to fulfill.
